This book was the one that I read when I was in a book slump and needless to say, it immediately got me out of it. A very innocent looking cover decides you as you dive into the madness, chaos and suspense. I was hooked from the first chapter and didn’t put it down. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. It had the perfect murder mystery along with a dash of other genres like romance and the humour was elite. I definitely did not expect the plot twist at the end and it was mind-blowing. This is one of my favourite books and one that I suggest every time! It didn’t feel like a debut book at all, it was perfectly written and the multiple point of views where the cherry on top! That being said I liked all the characters personalities, i felt like they all were different but similar enough to compliment each other. I know a lot of people said it was predictable but that wasn’t the case for me at all! If you have read the book, you would either say the ending was anti-climatic or absolutely absurd in the good way, I would say the latter. 

Favourite Quote -“Things’ll get worse before they get better.” 

I absolutely love this quote because when you take it out of context and read it (like right now), It gives me a bitter sweet feeling and warm feeling but while reading the book the bittersweet feeling was overwhelmed by the chills that went through my spine.

Overall an amazing high school murder mystery with romance, wittiness and a few shocking revelations to follow, highly recommend!! Though in hindsight I would have liked to tell my past self to not read this book at 1;30 AM…not that I was scared, nope.
